Maadhimisho ya miaka 50 ya OAU/AU yafana

Waziri wa Mambo ya Nje na Ushirikiano wa Kimataifa, Mhe. Bernard K. Membe (Mb.), akimkabidhi Mkuu wa Mabalozi na Balozi wa DRC hapa nchini, Mhe. Juma Khalfan Mpango Mwenge wa Umoja wa Afrika (OAU/AU) kuashiria kuanza kwa maadhimisho ya miaka 50 ya Umoja huo yaliyofanyika katika Viwanja vya Karimjee, Dar es Salaam

"Brass Band" ikiongoza maandamano kutokea Wizara ya Mambo ya Nje na Ushirikiano wa Kimataifa kuelekea Viwanja vya Karimjee kwa ajili ya kuadhimisha miaka 50 OAU/AU.

Rais Kikwete awasili nchini Ethiopia kuhudhuria Sherehe za miaka 50 za Umoja wa Nchi za Afrika (AU)


Mhe. Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete, Rais wa Jamhuri ya Muungano wa Tanzania na Mama Salma Kikwete wakipata maelezo ya maandalizi ya sherehe hizo kutoka kwa Mhe. Prof. Joram Biswaro, Balozi wa Tanzania nchini Ethiopia mara baada ya Rais Kikwete kuwasili leo mjini Addis Ababa.  Rais Kikwete yupo nchini humo tayari kuhudhuria Sherehe za kuadhimisha miaka 50 tangu kuanzishwa kwa Umoja wa Nchi za Afrika (OAU) sasa ikijulikana kama (AU).  Sherehe hizo zinafanyika rasmi leo ambapo zitahudhuriwa na Marais wa Afrika. Congratulations to new Ambassadors!

President Kikwete meets with Finland Delegation


H.E. President Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete (right), President of the United Republic of Tanzania Thursday (May 23, 2013) met with Hon. Dr. Alexander Stubb, Minister for European Affairs and Foreign Trade at the State House in Dar es Salaam.

Finland delegation that consisted of top businessmen in talks with President Kikwete (not in the photo) at the State House in Dar es Salaam.  The businessmen discussed with President Kikwete the need to mobilize farmers through KILIMO KWANZA program by facilitating them with communication technological devices that are affordable and useful in transmitting useful agricultural information among them.  The businessmen had recently signed a joint-venture deal with Vodacom aim at providing affordable mobile phones as a way of enhancing communication among farmers in rural areas.
