Wizara ya Mambo ya Nje, Ushirikiano wa Afrika Mashariki, Kikanda na Kimataifa inasikitika kutangaza kifo cha aliyekuwa Waziri wa Mambo ya Nje na Ushirikiano wa Kimataifa kuanzia mwaka 1993 hadi 1995, Balozi Joseph Rwegasira (Pichani) kilichotokea tarehe 04 Machi, 2016 katika Hospitali ya Taifa ya Muhimbili, Jijini Dar es Salaam.

Msiba upo nyumbani kwa Marehemu Msasani Jijini Dar es Salaam ambapo tarehe 06 Machi, 2016 mwili wa Marehemu Balozi Rwegasira utaagwa katika Kanisa Katoliki la Mtakatifu Peter Mbuyuni saa 8.00 mchana.

Aidha, tarehe 07 Machi, 2016 mwili wa Marehemu utasafirishwa kulekea Bukoba, Kagera kwa mazishi.

Wizara inatoa pole kwa familia, ndugu, jamaa, marafiki na wote walioguswa na msiba huu.

Mungu ailaze Roho ya Marehemu mahali pema peponi. Amina.

EU Head of Delegation to Tanzania pays a visit at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Head of Delegation of the European Union to Tanzania, H.E Roeland Van De Geer (L)  in discussion with the Director of Europe and the Americas in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, East Africa, Regional and International Cooperation, Amb. Joseph Sokoine when the two met at the Ministry's office yesterday. In their discussion, EU Head of Delegation commended the President of the United Republic of Tanzania who is also the chair of the East African Community (EAC), H.E Dr. John Pombe Magufuli the way he chaired the EAC summit held in Arusha on the 2nd  of March 2016. He also commended the appointment of the former President of the United Republic of Tanzania, H.E Benjamin Mkapa as a facilitator for Burundi peace talks.

WAKUU WA NCHI WA EAC WAFANYA UZINDUZI UJENZI WA BARABARA.


Rais wa Jamhuri ya Muungano wa Tanzania Mhe. Dkt. John Pombe Magufuli akiwasalimia wakazi wa Arusha, viongozi na wawakilishi wa mataifa mbalimbali hawapo pichani ambao walihudhuria hafla fupi ya uzinduzi wa ujenzi wa mradi wa barabara ya Arusha -Holili/Taveta -Voi km 234.3 uliofanyika Tengeru nje kidogo ya jiji la Arusha, tarehe 3 March,2016.

Mhe. Rais Dkt. Magufuli na Mhe.  Rais Uhuru Kenyatta wakiongoza zoezi maalum la kukata utepe kuashiria uzinduzi wa ujenzi wa Mradi wa barabara Arusha-Holili/Taveta-Voi, wakiwa pamoja na wakuu wa nchi za Jumuiya ya Afrika Mashariki na viongozi mbalimbali walioshiriki hafla fupi ya Uzinduzi huo.
Rais wa Uganda Mhe. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni akiagana na Mhe. Waziri wa Katiba na Sheria Dkt. Harrison Mwakyembe tayari kwa kuanza safari ya kurudi nchini Uganda mara baada ya kukamilisha shughuli zilizoambatana na Mkutano wa Wakuu wa Nchi wa Jumuiya ya Afrika Mashariki.

Rais wa Kenya Mhe. Uhuru Kenyatta akitoa neno la shukrani kwa waziri wa Nishati na Madini Mhe. Sospeter Muhungo kuishukuru Serikali ya Tanzania tayari kwa safari ya kurudi nchini Kenya mara baada ya kukamilisha ushiriki wa Mkutano na kuzindua mradi wa ujenzi wa barabara unayoiunganisha nchi ya Kenya na Tanzania.

Joint Communique of the 17th Ordinary Summit of the EAC Heads of State



JOINT COMMUNIQUÉ: 17TH ORDINARY SUMMIT OF THE EAST AFRICAN COMMUNITY HEADS OF STATE



1.     THE EAST AFRICAN COMMUNITY HEADS OF STATE, THEIR EXCELLENCIES PRESIDENT DR. JOHN POMBE JOSEPH MAGUFULI OF THE UNITED REPUBLIC OF TANZANIA, PRESIDENT YOWERI KAGUTA MUSEVENI OF THE REPUBLIC OF UGANDA, PRESIDENT PAUL KAGAME OF THE REPUBLIC OF RWANDA, PRESIDENT UHURU KENYATTA OF THE REPUBLIC OF KENYA, AND H.E. DR. JOSEPH BUTORE, 2ND VICE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF BURUNDI, HELD THE 17TH ORDINARY SUMMIT OF THE EAST AFRICAN COMMUNITY HEADS OF STATE AT THE NGURDOTO MOUNTAIN LODGE IN ARUSHA, TANZANIA ON 2ND MARCH, 2016. H.E. DR. ALI MOHAMED SHEIN, PRESIDENT OF ZANZIBAR, AND H.E. JAMES WANI IGGA, VICE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF SOUTH SUDAN WERE IN ATTENDANCE. THE HEADS OF STATE AND GOVERNMENT MET IN A WARM AND CORDIAL ATMOSPHERE.
 
2.     THE SUMMIT RECEIVED THE ANNUAL REPORT OF THE COUNCIL OF MINISTERS COVERING THE PERIOD NOVEMBER 2014 - NOVEMBER 2015 AND NOTED THE STEADY PROGRESS MADE IN THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE PROGRAMMES OF THE COMMUNITY.
 
3.     THE SUMMIT CONSIDERED PROGRESS IN THE IMPLEMENTATION OF KEY OUTSTANDING DECISIONS AND OTHER POLICY ISSUES OF STRATEGIC IMPORTANCE TO THE EAST AFRICAN COMMUNITY AND NOTED THAT THERE ARE: - COUNCIL DECISIONS/DIRECTIVES THAT HAVE REMAINED OUTSTANDING FOR MANY YEARS; DELAYS IN RATIFICATION OF PROTOCOLS; AND NOTED THAT THERE ARE BILLS ENACTED BY THE EAST AFRICAN LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY THAT HAVE REMAINED UNASSENTED TO.
 
4.     THE SUMMIT DIRECTED THE SECRETARIAT TO AVAIL THE PARTNER STATES WITH A LIST OF ALL PROTOCOLS THAT HAVE NOT YET BEEN RATIFIED TO ENABLE THE PARTNER STATES EXPEDITIOUSLY RATIFY THEM AND DEPOSIT THE INSTRUMENTS OF RATIFICATION WITH THE SECRETARY GENERAL BY 30TH JULY, 2016.
 
5.     THE SUMMIT DECIDED TO ASSENT TO BILLS WHICH HAVE BEEN SUBMITTED TO PARTNER STATES AT LEAST THREE (3) MONTHS PRIOR TO THE SUMMIT AND TO WHICH HEADS OF STATE HAVE GIVEN NO OBJECTION DURING THEIR ORDINARY SUMMIT.
 
6.     THE SUMMIT DIRECTED THE PARTNER STATES TO IMPLEMENT ALL THE OUTSTANDING DECISIONS AND REPORT THE STATUS TO THE NEXT SUMMIT OF THE HEADS OF STATE.
 
7.     THE SUMMIT DELEGATED ITS POWERS OF APPROVAL OF REVIEWS OF THE EAST AFRICAN COMMUNITY COMMON EXTERNAL TARIFF AND THE EAST AFRICAN COMMUNITY RULES OF ORIGIN TO THE COUNCIL OF MINISTERS IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTIONS 3,5 AND 6 OF THE SUMMIT (DELEGATION OF POWERS AND FUNCTIONS) ACT 2007 FOR A FURTHER THREE YEARS WITH EFFECT FROM 2ND MARCH 2016.
 
8.     THE SUMMIT NOTED THE PROPOSED IMPLEMENTATION FRAMEWORK FOR THE EAC INSTITUTIONAL REVIEW AND DIRECTED THE COUNCIL TO PROCEED WITH THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE PROPOSED FRAMEWORK AND GIVE A PROGRESS REPORT AT THE NEXT SUMMIT OF THE HEADS OF STATE.
 
9.     THE SUMMIT DIRECTED THE COUNCIL TO REVIEW THE EAST AFRICAN DEVELOPMENT BANK (EADB) CHARTER TO STREAMLINE IT INTO THE EAC MAIN STRUCTURE. THE SUMMIT FURTHER DIRECTED THE SECRETARIAT TO DEVELOP GUIDELINES FOR THE CREATION, GOVERNANCE AND REPORTING STRUCTURES FOR ALL THE INSTITUTIONS OF THE COMMUNITY.
 
10.   THE SUMMIT DIRECTED THE COUNCIL TO FINALIZE THE WORK ON THE MODALITIES REQUIRED TO ESTABLISH A SUSTAINABLE FINANCING MECHANISM FOR THE EAST AFRICAN COMMUNITY BASED ON VARIOUS OPTIONS, INCLUDING A HYBRID OF A LEVY AND EQUAL CONTRIBUTION WITH A COMMITMENT TO INCREASE THE BUDGET, THAT ENCOMPASSES THE PRINCIPLES OF EQUITY, SOLIDARITY AND EQUALITY, AND SUBMIT A REPORT TO THE NEXT SUMMIT FOR CONSIDERATION.
 
11.   THE SUMMIT RECEIVED A REPORT OF THE COUNCIL ON THE NEGOTIATIONS FOR THE ADMISSION OF THE REPUBLIC OF SOUTH SUDAN INTO THE EAST AFRICAN COMMUNITY AND DECIDED TO ADMIT THE REPUBLIC OF SOUTH SUDAN AS A MEMBER OF THE EAC. THE SUMMIT DESIGNATED THE CHAIRPERSON OF THE SUMMIT TO SIGN THE TREATY OF ACCESSION WITH THE REPUBLIC OF SOUTH SUDAN.
 
12.   THE SUMMIT NOTED THAT THE VERIFICATION EXERCISE FOR THE ADMISSION OF THE REPUBLIC OF SOMALIA INTO THE EAC WAS NOT UNDERTAKEN, AS PREPARATIONS WITH THE GOVERNMENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF SOMALIA HAVE NOT YET BEEN FINALIZED. THE SUMMIT DIRECTED THE COUNCIL TO UNDERTAKE THE VERIFICATION EXERCISE AND REPORT TO THE 18TH SUMMIT.
 
13.   THE SUMMIT RECEIVED A REPORT OF THE COUNCIL OF MINISTERS ON PROGRESS ON THE EAC POLITICAL FEDERATION. THE SUMMIT COMMENDED THE PROGRESS THUS FAR AND DECIDED TO FINALISE THE MATTER AT THE NEXT SUMMIT.
 
14.   THE SUMMIT TOOK NOTE OF THE PROGRESS AND ROAD MAP TOWARDS FINALIZATION OF THE COMPREHENSIVE STUDY ON AUTOMATIVE INDUSTRY IN THE EAC REGION; AND DIRECTED THE COUNCIL TO EXPEDITE THE PROCESS AND REPORT TO THE 18TH SUMMIT.
 
15.   THE SUMMIT TOOK NOTE OF THE PROGRESS MADE IN PROMOTING THE COTTON, TEXTILE, APPAREL AND LEATHER INDUSTRIES IN THE REGION AND DIRECTED THE PARTNER STATES TO ENSURE THAT ALL IMPORTED SECOND HAND SHOES AND CLOTHES COMPLY WITH SANITARY REQUIREMENTS, IN THE PARTNER STATES. THE SUMMIT FURTHER DIRECTED THE PARTNER STATES TO CONSIDER BANNING THE EXPORT OF RAW HIDES AND SKINS OUTSIDE THE EAC REGION.
 
16.   THE SUMMIT, BEING DESIRIOUS OF PROMOTING VERTICALLY INTEGRATED INDUSTRIES IN THE TEXTILE AND LEATHER SECTOR, DIRECTED THE PARTNER STATES TO PROCURE THEIR TEXTILE AND FOOTWEAR REQUIREMENTS FROM WITHIN THE REGION WHERE QUALITY AND SUPPLY CAPACITIES ARE AVAILABLE COMPETITIVELY, WITH A VIEW TO PHASING OUT IMPORTATION OF USED TEXTILE AND FOOT WEAR WITHIN THREE YEARS. THE SUMMIT DIRECTED THE PARTNER STATES TO SENSITIZE ALL STAKEHOLDERS AND DIRECTED THE COUNCIL TO PROVIDE THE SUMMIT WITH AN ANNUAL REVIEW WITH A VIEW TO FAST TRACKING THE PROCESS.
 
17.   THE SUMMIT ENDORSED AND LAUNCHED THE EAC VISION 2050. THE EAC HEADS OF STATE COMMITTED THEMSELVES TO IMPLEMENT THE EAC VISION AND ENSURE THAT BY 2050, THE EAC WILL HAVE BEEN TRANSFORMED INTO AN UPPER-MIDDLE INCOME REGION WITHIN A SECURE AND POLITICALLY UNITED EAST AFRICA BASED ON THE PRINCIPLES OF INCLUSIVENESS AND ACCOUNTABILITY.
 
18.   THEIR EXCELLENCIES THE EAC HEADS OF STATE LAUNCHED THE NEW INTERNATIONAL EAST AFRICAN E-PASSPORT AND DIRECTED THAT COMMENCEMENT OF ISSUANCE OF THE EA E-PASSPORT TAKES EFFECT FROM 1ST JANUARY, 2017; AND IMPLEMENT THE PHASE OUT PROGRAMME FOR THE CURRENT EAST AFRICAN AND NATIONAL PASSPORTS FROM 1ST JANUARY, 2017 TO 31ST DECEMBER, 2018. THE HEADS OF STATE FURTHER DIRECTED PARTNER STATES TO UNDERTAKE AWARENESS CREATION PROGRAMMES AND OTHER CONTINUOUS OUTREACH PROGRAMMES ON THE NEW INTERNATIONAL EA E- PASSPORT.
 
19.   THE SUMMIT, PURSUANT TO ARTICLE 42 (2) OF THE TREATY FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE EAC, WITNESSED THE SWEARING INTO OFFICE OF MR. YUFNALIS NDEGE OKUBO FROM THE REPUBLIC OF KENYA AS THE NEW REGISTRAR OF THE EAST AFRICAN COURT OF JUSTICE.
 
20.   THEIR EXCELLENCIES THE EAC HEADS OF STATE LAUNCHED THE CODE OF CONDUCT TO FIGHT CORRUPTION IN THE PRIVATE SECTOR. THE SUMMIT COMMENDED THE COMMITMENT AND ASPIRATIONS OF THE PRIVATE SECTOR TO PLAY A LEADING ROLE IN THE INTEGRATION PROCESS.
 
21.   THEIR EXCELLENCIES THE EAC HEADS OF STATE AWARDED CERTIFICATES TO THE WINNERS OF THE EAC SECONDARY SCHOOLS ESSAY COMPETITION 2015.
 
22.   THE SUMMIT APPOINTED MR. LIBERAT MFUMUKEKO FROM THE REPUBLIC OF BURUNDI AS THE NEW SECRETARY GENERAL. THE APPOINTMENT WILL TAKE EFFECT FROM 26TH APRIL, 2016. THE SUMMIT THANKED THE OUTGOING SECRETARY GENERAL, AMB. DR. RICHARD SEZIBERA, FOR HIS DEDICATED SERVICE TO THE COMMUNITY AND WISHED HIM SUCCESS IN HIS FUTURE ENDEAVOURS.
 
23.   THE SUMMIT RENEWED THE CONTRACT OF MR. CHARLES JACKSON KINYANJUI NJOROGE AS THE DEPUTY SECRETARY GENERAL OF THE EAST AFRICAN COMMUNITY FOR A FURTHER THREE (3) YEARS WITH EFFECT FROM 29TH JUNE 2016.
 
24.   THE SUMMIT CLARIFIED THAT H.E. YOWERI KAGUTA MUSEVENI IS THE EAC APPOINTED MEDIATOR FOR THE INTER-BURUNDI DIALOGUE. THE SUMMIT ALSO APPOINTED A TEAM UNDER H.E. BENJAMIN WILLIAM MKAPA FORMER PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED REPUBLIC OF TANZANIA TO FACILITATE THE MEDIATION.
 
25.   THE SUMMIT DECIDED THAT H.E. DR. JOHN POMBE MAGUFULI CONTINUES AS THE CHAIRPERSON OF THE SUMMIT FOR A PERIOD OF ONE (1) YEAR.
 
26.   THE SUMMIT EXPRESSED ITS SOLIDARITY WITH THE PEOPLE AND THE GOVERNMENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF KENYA FOLLOWING THE ATTACK BY AL-SHABAAB TERRORISTS ON THE KENYA DEFENCE FORCES' AMISOM BASE AT EL ADDE IN SOMALIA WHICH RESULTED IN THE DEATH OF KDF SOLDIERS. THE SUMMIT CONDEMNED THE ATTACK AND REAFFIRMED THE COMMUNITY'S RESOLVE TO COUNTER TERRORISM AND INSECURITY IN THE REGION.
 
27.   THEIR EXCELLENCIES, PRESIDENT YOWERI KAGUTA MUSEVENI OF THE REPUBLIC OF UGANDA; PRESIDENT UHURU KENYATTA OF THE REPUBLIC OF KENYA; PRESIDENT PAUL KAGAME OF THE REPUBLIC OF RWANDA, AND; JOSEPH BUTORE, 2ND VICE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF BURUNDI THANKED THEIR HOST, HIS EXCELLENCY PRESIDENT DR. JOHN POMBE MAGUFULI OF THE UNITED REPUBLIC OF TANZANIA FOR THE WARM AND CORDIAL HOSPITALITY EXTENDED TO THEM AND THEIR RESPECTIVE DELEGATIONS DURING THEIR STAY IN TANZANIA.

Rais Mhe. Dkt. Ally Mohamed Shein akivipongeza vikundi vya wacheza ngoma vilivyokuja kumpokea uwanjani hapo.

Kikundi cha ngoma cha wanawake kikimpokea kwa shangwe Rais wa Zanzibar.

 Mhe. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni Rais wa Uganda mara baada ya kuwasili katika uwanja wa ndege wa kimataifa wa Kilimanjaro kwa ajili ya kuhudhuria Mkutano wa 17 wa wakuu wa nchi wa Jumuiya ya Afrika Mashariki, Mhe. Waziri wa Katiba na Sheria Dkt. Harrison Mwakyembe  wa pili kulia aliongoza mapokezi ya kiongozi huyo.

Rais wa Rwanda Mhe. Paul Kagame akisalimiana na viongozi wa jeshi ambao walikuja kumpokea katika uwanja wa ndege wa kimataifa wa Kilimanjaro, kushoto kwake ni Waziri wa Mambo ya Ndani Mhe. Charles Kitwanga akiwa ameambatana naye mara baada ya kumpokea.


Kaimu Mkuu wa Itifaki Bw. James Bwana akitoa maelezo kwa Mhe. Waziri wa Nishati na Madini Prof. Sospeter Muhongo ambaye alimpokea Rais wa Kenya Mhe. Uhuru Kenyata ambaye aliwasili kwa ajili ya kushiriki mkutano huo.

Rais wa Kenya Mhe. Uhuru Kenyata akisalimiana na Balozi wa Tanzania nchini Kenya  Mhe. John Haule mara baada ya kuwasili katika uwanja wa ndege wa kimataifa wa Kilimanjaro.

Mhe. Rais Uhuru Kenyata akisalimia vikundi vya ngoma havipo pichani vilivyokuwa vikitoa burudani uwanjani hapo.

Wakuu wa Nchi wanachama wa  Jumuiya ya Afrika Mashariki wakiwa katika Mkutano  wa 17 ambapo katika Mkutano huo Sudan ya kusini nayo imepata usajili wa uanachama katika umoja huo baada ya maombi yake kujadiliwa na kukubaliwa.


Mhe Rais Dkt. John Pombe Magufuli ambaye pia ni mwenyekiti wa jumuiya hiyo akihutubia katika Mkutano, ambapo ilikuwa mara yake ya kwanza kushiriki Mkutano huo tangu ashinde uchaguzi na kuwa Rais wa Jamhuri ya Muungano wa Tanzania.
Katibu Mkuu mteule wa Jumuiya ya Afrika Mashariki Bw, Liberat Mphumukeko kutoka nchini Burundi akiapa katika mkutano huo wa wakuu wa nchi mara baada ya uteuzi wake.

Bw. Liberat Mphumukeko akipewa pongezi na Mhe. Waziri wa Mambo ya Nje, Ushirikiano wa Afrika Mashariki, Kikanda na Kimataifa nchini Tanzania Mhe. Balozi Dkt. Augustine Mahiga mara baada ya kukamilisha taratibu za kiapo.

Waheshimiwa marais wa Jumuiya ya Afrika Mashariki wakiwa wameshika Hati ya kimataifa ya kusafiria ndani ya nchi wanachama wa jumuiya hiyo ambapo uzinduzi wa hati hiyo ulifanyika katika mkutano huo.
Kijana Simon Moleli kutoka shule ya Sekondari ya Mzumbe ambaye alikuwa mshindi wa kwanza katika mashindano ya uandishi wa insha ya Afrika Mashariki mara baada ya kukabidhiwa cheti cha ushindi na fedha vikiwa ni tuzo kwa ushindi alioupata.
Mkurugenzi wa Idara ya Ushirikiano wa Kikanda Balozi Innocent Shio wa pili kutoka kushoto akifatilia mkutano.

Wah. Wakuu wa Nchi wa Jumuiya ya Afrika Mashariki wakiwa katika picha ya pamoja na Wah. Mawaziri wa Jumuiya hiyo.

Mkutano wa 17 wa wakuu wa nchi wanachama wa Afrika Mashariki umefanyika Jijini Arusha ambapo Tanzania ilikuwa mwenyeji na muandaaji wa Mkutano huo ambao ulifanyika katika ukumbi wa Victoria katika Hoteli ya Ngurudoto, tarehe 2 Februari 2016. 


Burundi pia ilishiriki mkutano huo ambapo Mhe. Rais Pierre Nkurunziza aliwakilishwa na Makamu wa pili wa Rais Mhe. Joseph Butole. Sudan Kusini nayo ilialikwa na ikashiriki katika mkutano huo ambapo Makamu wa Rais Mhe. James Wani Igga alimwakilisha Rais wa Taifa hilo. Aidha mkutano ulihudhuriwa na waalikwa kutoka katika mataifa na jumuiya mbalimbali duniani. 

Muongozo wa maadili ya biashara  "Code of conduct for business in EAC" pia ulisainiwa na wakuu wa nchi wa jumuiya hiyo, lengo likiwa kuziinua nchi hizo katika hali duni ya umasikini na kuwekeza katika biashara zenye manufaa makubwa kwa mataifa hayo na kuhakikisha kila taifa halikiuki taratibu zilizowekwa.

Pia Tanzania chini ya Mhe. Rais Dkt. John Pombe Magufuli imeombwa kuendelea kuongoza umoja huo kwa mwaka mmoja zaidi. Wakuu hao wa nchi walimuomba Mhe Rais Magufuli kusimamia jumuiya hiyo kwa kutumia kauli mbiu yake ya "hapa kazi tu" kwa vitendo na si kwa maneno. Rais Magufuli alikubali ombi hilo na kuahidi kutowaangusha katika utendaji kazi na kwamba ataanza na kuangalia utendaji wa ofisi ya Jumuiya hiyo akisisitiza asiyeweza kuendana na kasi yake basi hafai kuwepo katika taasisi hiyo.

Mhe. Rais Magufuli alieleza pia kwa upande wa usuluhishi wa mgogoro wa Burundi Mhe. Yoweri Museveni alifanyie kazi suala hilo ili kuepuka madhara yatokanayo na migogoro. Wakati huo huo, Rais Mstaafu wa awamu ya tatu wa Jamhuri ya Muungano wa Tanzania Mhe. Benjamin W. Mkapa amechaguliwa kuwa msuluhishi katika mgogoro wa Burundi,  hivyo ataenda kuongeza nguvu kwa Mhe. Yoweri Museveni na akawasihi wanajumuiya kuwapa ushirikiano wasuluhishi hao.


Sambamba na hayo suala la kuanzisha na kukuza viwanda ndani ya jumuiya nalo lilionekana kuwa jambo la msingi kwa mataifa yote ili kuweza kuzalisha bidhaa zenye ubora na zitakazowezesha kukua kwa uchumi, pamoja na lugha ya Kiswahili kutumiwa na wanachama wote ili kurahisisha mawasiliano katika shughuli za kiuchumi.


Mwisho wakuu hao wa nchi walimpongeza Mhe. Rais Magufuli kwa kushinda katika uchaguzi na kupata nafasi ya kuwa Rais na pia walimpa pongezi kwa kuweza kuandaa Mkutano uliofanyika katika hali ya amani na utulivu na kuwezesha kufanikisha mambo muhimu yaliyoweza kutekelezwa katika mkutano huo.

Ujumbe wa Vietnam wakutana na Naibu Katibu Mkuu wa Mambo ya Nje.

Naibu Katibu Mkuu  wa Wizara ya Mambo ya Nje, Ushirikiano wa Afrika Mashariki, Kikanda na Kimataifa, Balozi Ramadhan Muombwa (kulia) akizungumza na Naibu Mkuu wa Itifaki wa Vietnam, Bw. Giang Son kuhusu masuala mbalimbali ya ushirikiano kati ya Tanzania na Vietnam.
Sehemu ya ujumbe kutoka Vietnam ukiongozwa na Balozi wa Vietnam hapa nchini, Mhe. Vo Thanh Nam (wa pili kulia), wakifuatilia mazungumzo hayo.
Mkurugenzi wa Idara ya Asia na Australasia kutoka Wizara ya Mambo ya Nje, Ushirikiano wa Afrika Mashariki, Kikanda na Kimataifa, Balozi Mbelwa Kairuki,(wa kwanza kushoto) kwa pamoja na Mkuu wa Kitengo cha Mawasiliano Serikalini na Msemaji wa Wizara hiyo Bi. Mindi Kasiga  na Maafisa wa Wizara hiyo nao wakifuatilia mazungumzo hayo.

Mkurugenzi Mkuu Msaidizi wa UNESCO kwa upande wa Afrika atembelea Wizara ya Mambo ya Nje

Mkurugenzi wa Idara ya Ushirikiano wa Kimataifa katika Wizara ya Mambo ya Nje, Ushirikiano wa Afrika Mashariki, Kikanda na Kimataifa, Balozi Celestine Mushy (kulia) akisalimiana na Mkurugenzi Mkuu Msaidizi wa UNESCO kwa upande wa Afrika, Bw. Firmin Matoko walipokutana kwa ajili ya mazungumzo kwenye Ofisi za Wizara ya Mambo ya Nje.


Balozi Mushy akiwa katika mazungumzo na Mkurugenzi Mkuu Msaidizi wa UNESCO kwa upande wa Afrika, Bw. Firmin Matoko. Mazungumzo hayo pamoja na Mambo mengine yalijikita katika vipaumbele vya UNESCO ambavyo ni elimu na jinisia. Kwa upande wa elimu, Balozi Mushy alieleza hatua ya Serikali ya awamu ya tano kutoa elimu bure kwa shule za msingi na sekondari. Kuhusu jinsia, alieleza hatua ya Serikali ya kujumuisha wanawake katika nafasi za uongozi ikiwa ni pamoja na kuimchagua Makamu wa Rais Mwanamke wa kwanza. Mwingine katika picha ni Mwakilishi wa UNESCO nchini Tanzania, Bi. Zulmira Rodrigues.
