The new British High Commissioner presents Letters of Credence

 H.E. Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete, President of the United Republic of Tanzania receives Letters of Credence from the new British High Commissioner Dianna Patricia Melrose to the United Republic of Tanzania in the States House, in Dar es Salaam.

President Kikwete receives a Special Message from President of Sudan

Hon. Membe holds discussion with the UNHCR Representative

Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation, Hon. Bernard K. Membe (MP) (right), yesterday (February 26, 2013) met with the United Nations Refugees Agency Representative (Tanzania), Ms. Mends-Cole who paid a courtesy visit to discuss strategic direction on refugees local integration.  The two met in the Minister's office located in Dar es Salaam.

Rais Kikwete akagua Ukumbi wa Mikutano ya Kimataifa mjini Dar es Salaam

  

Rais Dkt.Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete akikagua ukumbi mkubwa wa mikutano multi-purpose conference Hall' uliopo mtaa wa Shaaban Robert jijini Dar es Salaam. Ukumbi huo wa Serikali upo chini ya Wizara ya Mambo ya Nje na Ushirikiano wa Kimataifa. 

 Ujenzi wa Ukumbi huo uko katika hatua za mwisho na Rais Kikwete mbali na kuridhishwa na hatua hiyo ametoa maelekezo kwa wahandisi kutenga sehemu maalumu kwa Wapiga picha na waandishi wa habari ili waweze kufanya kazi zao kwa ufanisi. Rais Kikwete pia ameelekeza wahandisi kuweka viti na meza zinazohamishika ili kukidhi matakwa ya mikutano na vikao vya aina mbalimbali (picha na Freddy Maro)

Tanzania and Oman sign Agreement and MoU on Political Consultation Exchange

Hon. Bernard K. Membe (MP) (2nd left), Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation together with H.E. Yousuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman signing Agreed Minutes of the Areas for Cooperation between Tanzania and Oman.  The two Ministers also signed Memorandum of Understanding on Political Understanding Exchange, today at Hyatt Regency (Kilimanjaro) Hotel in Dar es Salaam.  Others in the photo are Mr. Benjamin Msuya (left), Legal Service Officer in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Tanzania) and his counterpart Mr. Isaka (right) from the Sultanate of Oman. 

Hon. Membe and H.E. Abdullah exchanging Agreed Minutes of the Areas for Cooperation that included sectors of agriculture, infrastructure, railway, trade, industry, trade, investment, energy and minerals, livestock production and fisheries development, and others.  The two countries engaged in the first meeting of Joint Permanent Commission of Cooperation held for two days from February 24 to 25, 2013 in Hyatt Regency (Kilimanjaro) Hotel in Dar es Salaam.
