H.E Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete, President of the United Republic of Tanzania has sent a congratulatory message to her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on the occasion of her 88^th birthday.

The message reads as follows:-

“Your Majesty Queen Elizabeth II,

Buckingham Palace,

London,

UNITED KINGDOM.

On behalf of the people and the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania, I extend sincere congratulations on the occasion of your 88^th birthday.

As you celebrate your birthday allow me to take this opportunity to express my appreciation on the good relations that exist between our two countries and peoples.

The celebration of your birthday offers us yet another opportunity to reaffirm our commitment to continue working closely together in strengthening further the relations between our two countries.

Please accept, Your Majesty, my best wishes for your continued good health and peace and prosperity for the people of the United Kingdom.”
