Dr. Augustine Mahiga attends Ministerial Meeting of the ICGLR in Luanda, Angola

Hon. Dr Augustine Mahiga, Minister for Foreign Affairs, East Africa, Regional and International Cooperation of the United Republic of Tanzania, leading the Tanzanian delegation at the Ministerial Meeting of the International Conference of  the Great Lakes Region (ICGLR) held on 11th February 2016 in Luanda, Angola. Sitting behind is Amb. Samuel Shelukindo, Director for Africa and Mr. Mobhare Matinyi. 

The Ministerial meeting considered a number of issues including the status of member states' contributions, the status of the implementation of the Pact on Security, Stability and Development in the Great Lakes Region as well as the security situation in the Region particularly Burundi, South Sudan, Central African Republic and Eastern DRC
