President Kikwete congratulates Cuba for its Liberation Day after the Revolution

His Excellency Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete, President of the United Republic of Tanzania has sent a congratulatory message to His Excellency Raul Castro, President of the Republic of Cuba, on the occasion of Commemoration of the Liberation Day of Cuba after the Revolution.

The message reads as follows;

“His Excellency Raul Castro,

The Republic of Cuba,

Havana,

CUBA.

Your Excellency,

On behalf of the Government and people of the United Republic of Tanzania and on my own behalf, I wish to extend sincere congratulations to you and to the Government and the people of Cuba on the occasion of your country’s Liberation Day after the Revolution.

We in Tanzania greatly appreciate the friendly ties of friendship and partnership which have existed between our two countries and people, over the years. I wish to take this opportunity to reaffirm our continued commitment to further strengthening these relations and cooperation, for the mutual benefit of our people.

As we mark this important day, let me also wish Your Excellency’s personal good health and continued peace and prosperity for the people of Cuba”.
