H.E. Jose Eduardo dos Santos, President of Angola

PRESS RELEASE

H. E. John Pombe Joseph Magufuli, President of the United republic of Tanzania, has sent a congratulatory message to H. E. Jose Eduardo dos SANTOS, President of the Republic of Angola on the occasion of the 40th Anniversary of Angolan National Day on the 11^th November, 2015.

The message reads as follows:

“H.E. Jose Eduardo Dos Santos,

President of the Republic of Angola,

LUANDA.

Your Excellency and Dear Brother,

It gives me great pleasure on behalf of the Government and People of the United Republic of Tanzania and indeed, on my own behalf, to extend to Your Excellency and through you to the Government and People of the Republic of Angola, our heartfelt and warmest congratulations on the occasion of celebrating the 40^th Anniversary of the independence of your great nation on 11^th November 2015.

As we join you in celebrating this auspicious and historic occasion, I wish to express my satisfaction with the cordial and brotherly bilateral relations that so happily exist between our two brotherly countries. Tanzania reaffirms its commitment to continue strengthening these relations through closer cooperation in social–political and economic fields for the mutual benefit of our two countries and peoples.

While wishing you a successful celebration, please accept, Your Excellency and Dear Brother, the assurance of my highest esteem as well as prosperity for the people of the Republic of Angola”.
