Kaimu Katibu Mkuu wa Wizara ya Mambo ya Nje na Ushirikiano wa Afrika Mashariki Balozi Stephen Mbundi amekutana na kufanya mazungumzo na Balozi wa Vietnam nchini Mhe. Nguyen Nam Tien ofisini kwake jijini Dodoma.
Katika mazungumzo yao viongozi hao wamesisitiza umuhimu wa kuendelea kuimarisha mahusiano ya kidiplomasia yaliyopo kati ya Tanzania na Vietnam na kuona jinsi Tanzania inavyoweza kujifunza na kunufaika na utaalam na uwekezaji kutoka Vietnam
Akizungumza katika kikao hicho, Kaimu Katibu Mkuu Balozi Mbundi ameelezea kuridhishwa na namna wawekezaji wa kutoka Vietnam wanavyoendesha shughuli zao nchini huku wakifuata sheria za nchi na kulipa kodi kwa wakati na hivyo kusaidia jitihada za Serikali ya Awamu Tano ya kukuza uchumi wa Nchi.
Pia ameelezea matarajio ya Tanzania katika kunufaika zaidi na mahusiano mazuri na Vietnam hususan katika maeneo ya matumizi ya teknolojia katika Kilimo na Uvuvi .
Naye Balozi Tien amesema Vietnam iko tayari kushirikiana na Tanzania katika maeneo hayo ili kuhakikisha maliasili zilizopo Tanzania zinainufaisha nchi na wananchi wake.
Amesema kwa sasa Ubalozi unafanya mazungumzo na wawekezaji wa nchini kwao ili kuona namna watakavyoshirikiana na Wizara ya Mambo ya Nje na Ushirikiano wa Afrika Mashariki kuanzisha mazungumzo na Jumuiya ya Wafanyabiashara na Viwanda Tanzania (TCCIA) ili kuwaita wawekezaji wa Vietnam kuja kuwekeza nchini katika viwanda vya kuzalisha korosho nchini hasa ikizingatiwa kuwa Vietnam ni nchi ya pili kwa ununuzi wa Korosho za Tanzania.
ACTING PS MET WITH VIETNAM AMBASSADOR IN THE CAPITAL DODOMA
The Acting Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation Ambassador Stephen Mbundi has met with the Vietnamese Ambassador to Tanzania Hon Nguyen Nam Tien in the capital Dodoma.
The two leaders were discussing on ways to strengthening diplomatic relations existing between the two nations as well as attracting investors from Vietnam to come and invest in Tanzania.
Speaking at the meeting, the Acting Permanent Secretary Ambassador Mbundi expressed his appreciations over the role played by Vietnamese investor who are complying with the Tanzanian laws and paying the required taxes which contributes to the country’s economic development and its people.
He said he is optimistic that Tanzania and Vietnam will continue to prosper their cooperation for the mutual benefits of the two nations as well as Tanzania will continue learning and adopting technological advancement and skills from Vietnam in the areas of Agriculture and fishing.
On his side Hon. Ambassador Tien said Vietnam is eager to honour the diplomatic relations which has 55 years and will continue to support Tanzania especially in investing in the area of processing Tanzanian cashewnuts since Vietnam is the second country which buys Tanzanian cashewnuts
