President Kikwete welcomes President of Sri Lanka to State House; Tanzania and Sri Lanka sign 3 Cooperation Pacts


H.E. Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete (right), President of the United Republic of Tanzania welcomes to the State House his counterpart, H.E. Mahinda Rajapaksa, President of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka yesterday evening (June 27, 2013).

H.E. President Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete opens official talks between Tanzania and Sri Lanka.  Left  to the President, is Hon. Minister Bernard K. Membe (MP), Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation. 

Ambassador Liberata Mulamula, Ambassador designate of the United Republic of Tanzania to the United States also was in participation together with Ambassador Mbelwa Kairuki, Director of the Department of Asia and Australasia.

Official talks begin between Tanzania and Sri Lanka Governments.
