Mhe. Haule akutana na Mjumbe Maalum kutoka Australia

Jumuiya ya Madola yaanza

Katibu Mkuu wa Wizara ya Mambo ya Nje na Ushirikiano wa Kimataifa, Bw. John M. Haule akiwa kwenye mazungumzo na Mjumbe Maalum kutoka Serikali ya Australia, Bw. Leslie Rowe leo tarehe 12 Septemba, 2011.

Bw. Rowe yuko nchini kwenye ziara ya kikazi ya siku tatu kama sehemu ya maandalizi ya Mkutano wa Wakuu wa Nchi na Serikali za Jumuiya ya Madola unaotarajiwa kufanyika mjini Perth, Australia mwishoni mwa mwezi ujao. Kulia ni Kaimu Mkurugenzi Idara ya Ushirikiano wa Kimataifa, Bibi Dora Msechu.

New Egyptian Amb. present copy of Credentials

H.E. Hossam Moharam, the newly appointed Ambassador of Egypt to Tanzania, presents a copy of his Credentials to Hon. Bernard K. Membe (MP), the Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. 

Mhe. Membe akutana na Mabalozi nchini


Mheshimiwa Bernard K. Membe (Mb), Waziri wa Mambo ya Nje na Ushirikiano wa Kimataifa leo Jumatano Septemba 7, 2011 amekutana na Mabalozi na Wawakilishi wa Mashirika ya Kimataifa hapa nchini kwenye ukumbi wa Karimjee.

Katika mkutano huo, Waziri Membe amezungumzia tatizo la umeme nchini na kufafanua mikakati ya Serikali katika kukabiliana na tatizo hilo. Alisema Serikali kupitia Wizara ya Nishati na Madini imeweka mkakati wa muda mfupi ambapo kwa kutumia umeme wa gesi, kutakuwa na ongezeko la megawati mia sita kati ya Disemba 2011 hadi Disemba 2012.

Kupitia mkutano huo, Mhe. Waziri Membe alieleza kwamba suala muhimu katika mgogoro wa Libya si Umoja wa Afrika au Tanzania kulitambua Baraza la Mpito la Libya (NTC) kama nchi za Magharibi zinavyotaka bali Baraza hilo kutambua na kutekeleza roadmap for peace iliyowekwa na Umoja wa Afrika mjini Malabo, Equitorial Guinea kuhakikisha amani ya kudumu inapatikana nchini humo.

“Tanzania inawapenda sana watu wa Libya na taifa lao, tunataka kuona taifa hilo likishamiri na kurudi kwenye hali ya utulivu na amani ili wananchi wa Libya waendelee kujenga taifa lao” alisema Waziri Membe.

Kuhusu baa la njaa lililoikumba Somalia, Mhe. Waziri Membe aliwaambia mabalozi hao kuwa Serikali ya
Tanzania imetoa msaada wa chakula na misaada mingine ya kibinaadam kwenda nchini humo. Aliishukuru Serikali ya Afrika Kusini kwa kusaidia kusafirisha misaada hiyo kwa ndege hadi Mogadishu, Somalia.

Mwisho, Waziri Membe aliwaarifu mabalozi hao kuhusu nia ya Wizara yake ya kusherehekea miaka 50 ya Uhuru wa Tanganyika kwa kuwapeleka Mabalozi safari ya kuitambua Tanzania na vivutio vyake. Safari hiyo inayotarajiwa kufanywa mwanzoni mwa mwezi Oktoba, itaanzia Butiama, nyumbani kwa Baba wa Taifa, Hayati Julius Kambarage Nyerere na kuishia Zanzibar, nyumbani kwa aliyekuwa Rais wa Kwanza wa Zanzibar Hayati Abeid Amani Karume.

New Finnish Ambassador presents copy of Credentials to Hon. Membe

New Finnish Ambassador presents
copy of her Credentials to Hon. Membe

The new Finnish Ambassador to Tanzania, H.E. Sinikka Antila said her country will continue bilateral relations with Tanzania in areas of business partnership, find solutions to the rise in cost of food prices, Northern Africa problems and climate changes which may result in famine crisis facing countries such as Somalia and Ethiopia. 
Madame Antila said this yesterday while presenting a copy of her Credentials to Hon. Bernard K. Membe (MP), the Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in his office.
For his part, Hon. Membe said his government is aware of the crisis of hunger facing African nations, such as Somalia, which has become a priority.  He explained that Somalia alone is facing 3.7 million people without shelter, food, clothing and that it is a first time South Somalia has faced two consecutive dried seasons in the period of 2009/2010 and 2010/2011. 
Hon. Membe also added that in every 10,000 people at least 2 adults and 4 children are dying in Somalia all because of famine resulting from climate changes.   Hon. Membe said Tanzania is the only neighborhood country with food and that it has already pledged 300 tons of maize to be sent to the affected country.  He also added that the public needs to be educated about how to preserve food in times of drought.
On the light note, Madame Antila shared her trip to Tanzania by train using Tanzania Zambia Railway Authority (TAZARA).   During her trip, she had an opportunity to see the beauty of Tanzania as the train crossed through the Selous National Park. 
Prior to her appointment here, Madame Antila was a previous ambassador to Zambia, Malawi and Zimbabwe.

Hon. Membe summons the Libyan's Ambassador

Rais Kikwete atembelea Banda la Wizara ya Mambo ya Nje Sabasaba

Wafanyakazi wa Wizara ya Mambo ya Nje na Ushirikiano wa Kimataifa na taasisi zake, wakiwa kwenye picha ya pamoja na Rais Kikwete leo mchana alipotembelea banda lao lililopo ndani ya Banda Kuu la Jakaya Kikwete. Kutoka kushoto ni Tagie Mwakawago, Charles Faini, Mindi Kasiga, Mhe. Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete, Assah Mwambene, Andes Seiya na Cleophace Ntongani leo tarehe 6.07. 2011.

Rais wa Jamhuri ya Muungano wa Tanzania Mhe. Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete akisaini kitabu cha wageni katika banda la Wizara ya Mambo ya Nje na Ushirikiano wa Kimataifa leo tarehe 6.07.2011. Pembeni kwake ni mtoto wa Rais Rashid Kikwete ambaye anapenda kuwa mwanadiplomasia. Kulia ni Afisa Mawasiliano wa Wizara Mindi Kasiga.

Afisa Mambo ya Nje Charles Faini akifafanua umuhimu wa kuwa na mahusiano mazuri na nchi mbalimbali kwa wananchi waliokuwa wakimiminika kwa wingi kwenye banda la Mambo ya Nje na Ushirikiano wa Kimataifa kwenye viwanja vya sababasaba leo tarehe 6.07.2011.


Watoto wa Rais Kikwete wakiwa kwenye banda la Wizara ya Mambo ya Nje na Ushirikiano wa Kimataifa wakitambua bendera za nchi mbalimbali zenye mahusiano ya kidiplomasia na Tanzania.

Spika wa Baraza la Wawakilishi Mhe. Kificho akisaini kitabu cha wageni alipotembelea banda la Wizara ya Mambo ya Nje na Ushirikiano wa Kimataifa leo tarehe 6.07.2011.

Mkurugenzi wa Sera na Mipango wa Wizara ya Mambo ya Nje na Ushirikiano wa Kimataifa Katinda Kamando akijibu swali la mwananchi kuhusu sera moya ya mambo ya nje kwenye banda la Wizara hiyo leo tarehe 6.07.2011 kwenye maonesho ya sabasaba.
