H.E. Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete, President of the United Republic of
Tanzania addressed to H.E. Abdullah Gül, President of the
Republic of Turkey following the tragic mining disaster, which occurred in Soma, Turkey on 14th
May, 2014. The message reads as follows:

Excellency,

of the Republic of Turkey,
ANKARA.
Your Excellency and Dear Brother,
I have received with profound sorrow and shock the sad news about the tragic
accident caused by terrible explosion at a coal mine in Soma, Turkey and claimed
……lives of more than 200 people.
On
behalf of the Government and People of the United Republic of Tanzania, and
indeed on my behalf, I wish at this difficult time, to express our deepest
sympathies and condolences to you and through you express our deepest
sympathies and condolences to you and through you to the bereaved families and
relatives. We pray that the Almighty God give the families and relatives of the
deceased strength and fortune to bear at this moment of agony distress.
May
the Almighty God bring rapid and complete recovery to the injured and rest the
souls of the deceased in eternal peace.
