Royal Highness and the Dutches of Cornwall Arrival in Dar es salaam

The British Royal Highness, Prince Charles has arrived this evening in Dar es salaam for the four-day Official visit to Tanzania. The Prince visit is among the series of visits to commemorate the 50Years of Tanzania Mainland Independence.
The Royal Highness is accompanied by the Dutches of Cornwall, Hon. Henry Bellingham, UK Minister for Africa Affairs and other ranking officials from the Buckingham Palace.
On arrival at the airport, the Royal Highness and the Dutchess of Cornwall were received by the Tanzanian Prime Minister, Hon. Mizengo Kayanza Pinda and other high-ranking officials including the Minister For Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Hon. Bernard Membe.
While in the country, the Prince of Wales will have an opportunity to hold official talks with President Jakaya Kikwete and gracing the Ministry of Science and Technology 50Years Exhibition. He is also expected to visit a number of Development projects supported by the British Government and make a visit to Arusha and Zanzibar.
On the Zanzibar trip, the Prince will pay a courtesy call to Dr. Mohammed Shein, the President of Zanzibar.
In Arusha, the Royal Highness will visit Legunga School to find more about the donor and government partnership in improving access to education and get briefing on the role of Non-governmental in raising awareness.
Prince Charles and his delegation are expected to depart Tanzania from Kilimanjaro International Airport.
