Sherehe za Kuadhimisha Siku ya Afrika Zafana jijini Dar es Salaam

Brass band ikiongoza maandamano ya wanadipolomasia wa nchi za Afrika, watumishi wa Serikali ya Tanzania, wanafunzi na wageni wengine waalikwa kwenda Viwanja vya Karimjee kuadhimisha Siku ya Afrika.

Wanafunzi wakiwa wamebeba bendera mbalimbali za nchi za Afrika na ile ya Umoja wa Afrika wakiwa katika maandamano kuelekea Viwanja vya Karimjee.

Alisema usalama wa Chakula ni changamoto ambayo  lazima nchi za Afrika zichukuwe juhudi za pamoja kukabiliana nayo

Maadmisho ya Siku ya Afrika kufanyika Jumapili


Mkurugenzi wa Idara ya Afrika katika Wizara ya Mambo ya Nje na Ushirikiano wa Kimataifa, Balozi Vicent Kibwana akiwa katika mkutano na waandishi wa Habari kuelezea maadhimisho ya Siku ya Afrika yatakayofanyika katika Viwanja vya Karimjee siku ya Jumapili tarehe 25 Mei, 2014. wengine katika picha ni Mhe. Meja Gen. Edzai Chimonyo (kushoto), Kaimu Mkuu wa Mabalozi wa nchi za Afrrika ambaye pia ni Balozi wa Zimbabwe nchini Tanzania na Balozi wa DRC nchini Tanzania, Mhe. Juma Mpango (kulia). kaulimbiu ya mwaka huu ya siku ya Afrika ni Kilimo na Usalama wa Chakula ambapo Waheshimiwa Mabalozi walisisitiza umuhimu wa nchi za Afrika kutoa kipaumbele katika sekta ya kilimo kwa kutengeneza sera nzuri za umiliki wa ardhi ili itumike kama dhamana katika taasisi za fedha.

Dushhood Mndeme akijiandaa kutaja majina ya Wafanyakazi Bora wa Wizara ya Mambo ya Nje na Ushirikiano wa Kimataifa akiwemo Mfanyakazi Hodari  wakati wa Kikao cha 8 cha Baraza la Wafanyakazi kilichofanyika katika Kituo cha Kimataifa cha Mikutano cha Julius Nyerere Jijini Dar es Salaam hivi karibuni. Background

The Southern African Development Community (SADC) currently has fifteen Member States with a population of approximately 250 million people and a combined GDP of USD 467.3 billion (2006). The overall objective of SADC is to achieve development and economic growth, which is to be attained through increased regional integration, built on democratic principles and equitable and sustainable development.

H.E. Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete, President of the United Republic of Tanzania addressed to H.E. Abdullah Gül, President of the Republic of Turkey following the tragic mining disaster, which occurred in Soma, Turkey on 14th May, 2014. The message reads as follows:

His Excellency,
Abdullah Gül,
President of the Republic of Turkey,
ANKARA.

Your Excellency and Dear Brother,

I have received with profound sorrow and shock the sad news about the tragic accident caused by terrible explosion at a coal mine in Soma, Turkey and claimed ……lives of more than 200 people.

On behalf of the Government and People of the United Republic of Tanzania, and indeed on my behalf, I wish at this difficult time, to express our deepest sympathies and condolences to you and through you express our deepest sympathies and condolences to you and through you to the bereaved families and relatives. We pray that the Almighty God give the families and relatives of the deceased strength and fortune to bear at this moment of agony distress.

May the Almighty God bring rapid and complete recovery to the injured and rest the souls of the deceased in eternal peace.
