New Netherlands Ambassador presents Letters of Credence to President Kikwete


Designate Ambassador Jacob Rijkert Theodoor Frederiks of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the United Republic of Tanzania signs a visitors book at the State House today, prior to his presentation of the Letters of Credence to President Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete.

H.E. President Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete, President of the United Republic of Tanzania awaits the newly Designate Ambassador Jacob Rijkert Theodoor Frederiks of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the United Republic of Tanzania today at the State House, in Dar es Salaam.  Also in the photo are Hon. Membe (MP) (2nd left), Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation and Ambassador Dora Msechu (left), Director of the Department of Europe and Americas in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. 

Introducing the Designate Ambassador Frederiks is the Chief of Protocol Ambassador Mohammed Maharage Juma. 

Newly Designate Ambassador Frederiks of the Kingdom of the Netherlands presents his Letters of Credence to President Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete of the United Republic of Tanzania.

H.E. President Kikwete in a discussion with H.E. Ambassador Frederiks of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the United Republic of Tanzania.  During their discussion, President Kikwete highlighted areas of cooperation between the two countries in various sectors that include horticulture in Mbeya and Iringa regions, promotion of dairy industry, oil and gas. 

President Kikwete continues with his discussion with Ambassador Frederiks, while Mr. Dirk Jan-Brouwer, First Secretary (Economic Affairs) of the Embassy of the Netherlands in Tanzania listening on.
