President Kikwete welcomes Liberian President to the State House

H.E. Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete, President of the United Republic of Tanzania, welcomes his counterpart H.E. Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, President of the Republic of Liberia to the State House today in Dar es Salaam.  President Sirleaf is in the country for an official visit from the 17th through the 19th of July, 2012.

President Kikwete presents the Makonde Carving, as one of the three gifts given to President Sirleaf during her visit to the State House.  Other two gifts were paintings, which one of them portrayed a picture of the President's home village.
