Hon. Bernard K. Membe (MP), Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation, greets his counterpart-Ministers from the Republic of Namibia, the Republic of Mozambique and South Africa prior to the commencement of the Ministerial-level Meeting of the SADC's Political, Defence and Security Organ (the Troika Summit). The Meeting took place yesterday in Hyatt Regency - Kilimanjaro Hotel in Dar es Salaam.
Hon. Membe gives his opening remarks during the Ministerial-Level Meeting of the SADC's Troika Summit. Others are General Davis Mwamunyange (right), Chief of Defence Forces and Dr. Tomaz A. Salomão (left), Executive Secretary of the Southern African Development Cooperation (SADC). The two-days Troika Summit will discuss political developments in Madagascar, security in Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and general elections in Zimbabwe scheduled to take place later this year.

President Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete, President of the United Republic of Tanzania is scheduled to lead the Troika Summit later this afternoon which will be attended by other member State Heads from SADC's Troika which are Mozambique, South Africa and Namibia.
