Ambassador of Chile presents Letters of Credence to President Kikwete

Designate Ambassador Konrad Paulsen, Ambassador of Chile in the United Republic of Tanzania.

H.E. Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete, President of the United Republic of Tanzania today received Letters of Credence from H.E. Ambassador Konrad Paulsen of Chile in the United Republic of Tanzania, who has residence in Nairobi, Kenya.  Witnessing the special ceremony is Ambassador Mohammed Maharage Juma, Chief of Protocol.  The ceremony took place in the State House earlier today in Dar es Salaam. Hon. Mahadhi Juma Maalim (MP), Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation gets introduced to Ambassador Paulsen of Chile.  Left is Ambassador Dora Msechu, Director of the Department of Europe and Americas in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. 

President Kikwete and Ambassador Paulsen in a discussion about various areas of renewed cooperation  in particularly to sectors of agriculture, tourism, mining, trade, business and more.  For his part, Ambassador Paulsen shared his experience when he visited Ngorongoro and Serengeti National Parks as well as Zanzibar, an experience which had taught him more about Tanzania and its natural beauty.
