Mhe. Balozi Batilda Burian aongoza Watanzania kujitolea damu, mjini Nairobi


Mhe. Balozi Batilda S. Burian akishiriki katika zoezi la utolewaji wa damu pamoja na Watanzania wengine aliyoambatana nao, mapema leo mjini Nairobi.

WATANZANIA WAISHIO KENYA WAITIKIA WITO WA KUJITOLEA DAMU KWA AJILI YA WAATHIRIKA WA TUKIO LA UGAIDI, NAIROBI KENYA

Mhe. Balozi Batilda S. Burian, Balozi wa Jamhuri ya Muungano wa Tanzania nchini Kenya, ameongoza umati wa Watanzania waishio hapa Nairobi leo kujitolea damu kwa ajili ya kuwasaidia waathirika wa tukio la Ugaidi lililotokea Tarhe 21 Septemba 2013 Nairobi Kenya, ambapo hadi sasa zaidi ya watu 62 wamepoteza maisha na wengine zaidi ya 179 wamejeruhiwa vibaya na wengi wao bado wanaendelea kupata matibabu katika hospitali za Aga Khan University Hospital, Hospitali ya Nairobi ( Nairobi Hospital), na Hospitali ya MP Shah.

Katika tukio hilo pia Mtanzania, Bwana Vedastus Nsanzungwanko, Meneja, Child Protection, UNICEF ni mmoaa wa wale walioathirika na tukio hilo ambapo alijeruhiwa  kwa risasi na magrunet katika miguu yake yote miwili. Hivi sasa Bwana Vedastus amelazwa katika hospitali ya Aga Khan, Nairobi na anendelea kupatiwa matibabu na hali yake inaendelea vizuri.

National Audit Office of Tanzania hosts an Awareness Workshop to Members of Media


The National Audit Office of Tanzania (NAOT) today held a one-day Awareness Workshop to the members of media for a discussion and understanding of the CAG Reports at the Landmark Beach Hotel, in Dar es Saalam.  The  Workshop was opened by the Controller and Auditor General (CAG), Mr. Ludovick Utouh.  Also in participation is one of the Communication Officers from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation, Ms. Tagie Daisy Mwakawago (standing behind the seated woman dressed blue jacket next to CAG).   Photo by Mohamed Namkape.

Mhe. Membe akutana na Katibu Mkuu wa Jumuiya ya Madola


Waziri wa Mambo ya Nje na Ushirikiano wa Kimataifa, Mhe. Bernard K. Membe (Mb.) akimsikiliza  Katibu Mkuu wa Jumuiya ya Madola, Mhe. Kamalesh Sharma walipokutana mjini New York kwa mazungumzo kuhusu masuala mbalimbali ya Jumuiya hiyo, ikiwemo maandalizi ya Mkutano ujao wa Wakuu wa Nchi na Serikali (CHOGM)  unaotarajiwa kufanyika nchini Sri Lanka mwezi Novemba, 2013. Mhe. Membe yupo mjini New York kwa ajili ya kuhudhuria Kikao cha 68  cha Baraza Kuu la Umoja wa Mataifa.

Tanzania, China for strong ties


Ambassador Mbelwa Kairuki, Director of the Department of Asia and Australasia in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation welcomes H.E. Lu Youqing, Ph.D., Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to the United Republic of Tanzania prior to their meeting earlier today in the Ministry. 

Ambassador Kairuki assured H.E. Ambassador Lu of the Government's readiness to continue its strong bilateral ties with the Government of the People's Republic of China.

H.E. Ambassador Youqing expresses his appreciation for the continued cooperation with the Government of Tanzania.  

The meeting continues between Ambassador Kairuki and H.E. Ambassador Lu Youqing, Ph.D.

Ambassador Lu Youqing expresses his Government readiness for the upcoming preparation of the 50 years of strong friendship and cooperation between Tanzania and the People's Republic of China.  The upcoming events are slated for summer next year in China.

Tanzania, China for strong ties

The Ambassador of the People's Republic of China says his Government is ever-ready to continue development projects geared for Tanzania, in efforts to alleviate poverty in the long run. 

Speaking during his courtesy visit to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation earlier today, Ambassador Lu Youqing said there are currently various projects in place that include the gas pipeline project, the Mchuchuma-Liganga twin project that have coal and iron ore deposits that can be mined for over 100 years to come, and the Bagamoyo port, including other infrastructure projects.

Scheduled for completion by 2017, the port at Bagamoyo is geared to handle 4 million containers. The port also will be joined by a new 34-kilometres road from Bagamoyo to Mlandizi and a 65 kilometres of railway connecting Bagamoyo to the Tanzania-Zambia Railway (TAZARA) and Central Railway. 

For his part, Ambassador Kairuki thanked Ambassador Lu Youqing for his country's continued support.  He highlighted that China has been a strong partner in development of the country in various projects that have direct impact to the people.

Ambassador Kairuki further assured of the Tanzania Government's cooperation in all projects, which some are expected to be ready during the upcoming 50 years celebration of the friendship, economic and trade cooperation between Tanzania and the People's Republic of China.  

Ambassador Lu Youqing met with Ambassador Mbelwa Kairuki, Director of the Department of Asia and Australasia in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as further efforts to continue cooperation between the two countries. 

The two countries have had strong bilateral ties dated back to the 1960s, during the time of the founding fathers of these two great nations, that is Mao Zedong and Julius Kambarage Nyerere. 

The 50 years celebration is scheduled to be held next year in China.

Anissi Chamsidine, kutoka moja ya visiwa vinavounda nchi ya Comoro.  Balozi Kibwana alikuwa amempokea Mhe. Chamsidine mara baada ya kuwasili nchini leo katika Uwanja wa Ndege wa Kimataifa wa Mwalimu Julius Nyerere, jijini Dar es Salaam. 

Akiwa nchini, Gavana huyo anatarajiwa kukutana na viongozi mbalimbali wa Serikali na Jumuiya ya Wafanyabiashara kutoka sekta mbalimbali za uchumi.
