Hon. Bernard K. Membe (MP), Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation on September 24, 2012 attended Dinner hosted by U.S. President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama, in honor of the Heads of State and Government attending the 67th Session of the United Nations General Assembly. Hon. Membe is the head of the Tanzania delegation and is attending the General Assembly on behalf of President Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete, President of the United Republic of Tanzania. The dinner was held at the luxury hotel of Waldorf Astoria in New York, USA.
