Ministry of Foreign Affairs bids farewell to the US Ambassador


The new US Deputy Chief of Mission in the United Republic of Tanzania, Ms. Virginia Blaser walks in Ambassador Alfonso E. Lenhardt to his Farewell Luncheon hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation.  

Hon. Mahadhi Juma Maalim (MP), Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation says hello H.E. Ambassador Alfonso Lenhardt of the United States of America in the United Republic of Tanzania.   Ambassador Lenhardt has just ended his remarkable tenure in the country, with successful mission completed including recent visit of the US President Barack Obama last July 2013.

Hon. The outgoing US Ambassador Lenhardt gives his remark during the farewell bid luncheon hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation. During his remark, Ambassador Lenhardt hailed his country's satisfaction of the strong bilateral ties with Tanzania and he assured that foundation will continue with his predecessor.
