AU EXECUTIVE COUNCIL MEETS IN ADDIS ABABA ON EBOLA OUTBREAK

Minister of Health, Hon. Dr. Seif Rashid (MP) led the Tanzania Delegation in an emergency meeting of The Executive Council of the African Union on Ebola Outbreak held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, 8th September, 2014. Behind Hon. Rashid is Hon. Dr. Mahadhi Juma Maalim (MP), Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and H.E. Naimi Aziz, Ambassador of Tanzania to Ethiopia. The Meeting which is being convened following unprecedented spread of Ebola  is expected to consider the outbreak of the disease, with a view to developing a common understanding of the epidemic and  collective approach so as to effectively contain its spread.
