PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation of the United Republic of Tanzania wishes to inform the General Public in need of Certificationof Documents to be used outside the country, that;

(1)From 1^stJuly, 2017 all payments for Certification of Documents shall be made via CRDB bank account number0150275408200, Foreign Collection Account and the bank slip be submitted to the Ministry.

(2)It is stressed that, no cash payment will be accepted at the Ministry as per the previous practice except bank payment slip. Cost for certification remains unchanged,Tanzania Shillings Fifteen Thousands only (Tshs.15, 000/=) per copy.

(3)Before any document is brought to the Ministry for certification, it has to be first verified by the issuing authority for authentication.

(4)After complying with the directive provided under clause three (3) herein above, the applicant must write a letter to the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation requesting for certification of the documents. The said letter must be accompanied with copies of all the documents to be certified after being firstly verified by the issuing authority.

(5) IT IS REMINDED THAT, DOCUMENTS CERTIFICATION SERVICE IS AVAILABLE ONLY ON TUESDAY AND THURSDAY FROM 0900HRS TO 1100HRS.
