Tanzania mourns for the Philippines' Typhoon Yolanda catastrophe


H.E. Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete, President of the United Republic of Tanzania has sent a condolence message to the President of the Philippines, H.E. Benigno S. Aquino III, following the Typhoon Yolanda that has hit the Philippines causing loss of lives and damage to properties. 


The Message reads as follows:
“Your Excellency,
Benigno S. Aquino III,
President of the Philippines,
Manila, PHILIPPINES.

I am deeply saddened by the devastating effects of the Typhoon Yolanda that has hit the Philippines causing loss of lives and damage to properties.
On behalf of the Government and the People of the United Republic of Tanzania, I extend to you and through you to the people of the Philippines, our heartfelt sympathy and condolences. Our thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved familiesduring this difficult period, and we also wish the survivors full and speed recovery.
The people of Tanzania are optimistic of the preparedness and solidarity of the people of the Philippines during this hard time.
