Ministry of Foreign Affairs bids farewell to the UNDP's Dr. Kacou

Hon. Bernard K. Membe (MP), Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation points out the Mount Kilimanjaro on a gift given to the outgoing Resident Representative for the United Nations Development Programme and Resident Coordinator of the UN System in Tanzania, Dr. Alberic Kacou yesterday at the Serena Hotel in Dar es Salaam.  The Minister hosted the farewell dinner for Dr. Kacou, who had just completed his tenure of four years.

Distinguished in attendance included Ambassador Vincent Kibwana (right), Acting Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Simba Yahya (2nd right), Director of Middle East in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Ambassador Mushy reads the card which is signed by all officers from his Department of Multilateral Cooperation in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.  The Department had worked closely with Dr. Kacou throughout his four-year tenure while in the country.
