H.E. Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete, President of the United Republic of Tanzania has sent a condolences message to H. H. Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Sabah, Amir of the State of Kuwait following the tragedy death of 27 innocent Kuwait nationals and hundreds who sustained injuries caused by terror attack  which occurred on 26th June, 2015. The message reads as follows;



“His Highness Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jabir al-Sabah,

Amir of the State of Kuwait,

Kuwait City.



Your Highness,



I have learnt with deep sorrow and sadness the tragedy unexpected demise of 27 innocent Kuwait nationals and left hundreds who sustained injuries caused by terror attack on a Shia mosque which occurred on 26th June, 2015.



On behalf of the Government and  the People of the United Republic of Tanzania I wish to convey to you, and through you, to the people of the State of Kuwait, particularly the families of the bereaved our heartfelt condolence  and deep sympathies.



The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania condemns in the strongest terms the terror attack which took place at one of Kuwait’s oldest Shia mosques during midday prayers.

 

In this time of grief, our heartfelt and prayers are with the families of the victims and the people of the State of Kuwait in general.
