President Kikwete, the First Lady and Hon. Membe and others bid farewell to the US President Barack Obama


H.E. President Barack Obama of the United States of America says goodbye to the Dar es Salaam Regional Commissioner Saidi Meck Sadik, after he ended his two-days official tour in the country.   The Senior Government Officials and President Kikwete's children were among the number of crowd that gathered together at the Julius Nyerere International Airport in Dar es Salaam to say goodbye this afternoon.

The US President Barack Obama says goodbye to Hon. Bernard K. Membe (MP), Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation.   President Obama has been in the country for two-days official tour where he launched the Power Africa Initiative cementing America's continued commitment to invest more in Africa in effort to boost economy for the future generation of leaders. 

 President Barack Obama of the United States of America takes time to say goodbye to President Jakaya Kikwete's children who also had gathered at the Julius Nyerere International Airport to participate in this historical moment.   Waiting at the end of the line is the US Ambassador Alfonso Lenhardt to the United Republic of Tanzania and his beloved wife Madame Lenhardt. 

H.E. President Barack Obama of the United States of America says goodbye to the US Ambassador Alfonso Lenhardt of the United Republic of Tanzania after his two-days official tour ended today in Dar es Salaam.  Witnessing the special moment is the host, H.E. President Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete, President of the United Republic of Tanzania. 

President Obama and President Kikwete took time to exchange views as they walk together towards the Air Force One plane for President Obama.  


First Ladies also walked to join their Husbands. 

First Lady Michelle Obama hugs and thanks her counterpart First Lady Salma Kikwete for her warm hospitality during their two-days stay here in Tanzania. 

The two Presidents take their respectable times to thank and say goodbye to the First Ladies.
