Tanzania/Japan meet for their Annual Consultation meeting on Economic Cooperation

The Tanzania/Japan annual consultation meeting on economic cooperation is in session.  The two countries have been cooperating in various sectors that include water and sanitation, agriculture, roads projects, education and energy sectors as part and parcel of incorporating and implementing the Fifth Tokyo International Conference on Africa Development (TICAD V) declarations held a month ago in Yokohama City, Japan.  It is in that spirit that these projects are entwined with the Tanzania Development Vision of 2025, as continued efforts to revitalize the economic growth of the country.

The meeting was also participated by Ambassador Mbelwa Kairuki (2nd left), Director of the Department of Asia and Australasia in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Kambona (3rd left), Foreign Service Officer in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Mr. Clifford K. Tandari (4th left), Deputy Executive Secretary  - International Trade and Economic Relations in the President's Office Planning Commission. 

Also in attendance is Mr. Ottaro (right), Assistant Director of the Department of Policy and Planning in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Masaki Okada, Ambassador of Japan to the United Republic of Tanzania.
